Abstract

Provided is a desk lighting device, which can illuminate all over the illumination target region of an upper desk surface with an effective and high illuminance and in a sufficient quantity of light without inviting any increase in a calorific value or a power consumption, thereby to attain a satisfactory visibility irrespective of the position of the illumination target region. The desk lighting device (100) comprises a base to be disposed on an upper desk surface (11), a post (13) erected on the base, and a movable supporting portion (15) connected to the post and supporting a head portion (17) movably at its leading end, thereby to illuminate the upper desk surface (11). The desk lighting device (100) further comprises an arrayed light source having a plurality of light emitting diodes arranged in a line, first reflecting portions disposed to correspond to the light emitting diodes individually and having curved shapes expanded toward the upper desk surface (11), and a second reflecting portion disposed closer to the light emanating side than the first reflecting portions and along the column direction of the light emitting diodes and having such a reflecting surface of a flat plate shape arranged only on its one side as reflects the rays from the light emitting diodes to the light emanating side.
