Abstract

A slide deck device for a vehicle. In the device, rain water etc. are less likely to enter through-holes that are prepared in a bottom plate of a luggage room and by the use of which lower rail fixing brackets are screwed into position, the through-holes can be used to screw brackets of a seat into position when the seat is mounted in the luggage room in place of the slide deck device, and, despite the brackets being constructed as a front and back pair, deformation of the lower rails is prevented when a couple acts on that portion of the lower rails to which the back bracket is installed. A back support member (38) in contact with a luggage room floor surface (15) is fixed on the bottom surfaces of the lower rails (25) so as to be positioned behind the back bracket (22).
