　飛散防止チューブ装着工程を簡単化し、外観を改善した飛散防止形環形蛍光ランプを提供することを目的とする。 　この発明に係る飛散防止形環形蛍光ランプは、環状に整形されたガラス管１と、ガラス管１の内面に設けられた蛍光体４と、ガラス管１の両端に設けられた一対のフィラメント２ａ，２ｂと、ガラス管１の内部に密閉されて封入された水銀と、ガラス管１の内部に密閉されて封入された希ガスと、ガラス管１の周囲に設けられ、環の外側の厚さが０．０７ｍｍ～０．１１ｍｍの飛散防止チューブ５とを備えたことを特徴とする。
