Abstract

　低廉でかつ各戸の高いセキュリティを確保できる、マンション等の集合住宅に好適な生体認証を用いた電子錠装置を提供する。電子錠装置は、人体の特徴に基づいて個人を特定する生体認証装置と、複数のドアと対応して設けたれた暗証番号入力装置と、ドアを開錠、閉錠する電気錠装置と、生体認証装置による認証結果が正当である場合に、暗証番号入力装置からの入力を受け付け、暗証番号が一致した場合に、認証された人と対応するドアを開錠する錠制御装置とを備える。生体認証の高い本人認証精度と、簡単で便利な暗証番号装置の特徴を生かし、高いセキュリティを確保できると共に、生体認証装置は建物の入り口等に１つのみ設置すればよいので設備が安価となる。
