Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé et un système de fourniture de contenus publicitaires associés à des contenus VOD. Ce procédé consiste d'abord à recevoir une demande de contenus VOD en provenance d'un utilisateur, à accéder au système fournisseur de services via un réseau et à transférer une demande de téléchargement des contenus VOD demandés. Dans ce cas, le système fournisseur de services télécharge en aval des contenus VOD demandés à partir du décodeur en réponse à la demande de téléchargement de contenus VOD. Le décodeur peut fonctionner pour détecter une vitesse de téléchargement des contenus VOD via le réseau, comparer la vitesse de téléchargement avec une vitesse de référence sélectionnée et, partant d'un résultat de comparaison, si la vitesse de téléchargement est inférieure à la vitesse de référence sélectionnées, la durée d'une lecture de contenus publicitaire est maintenue pendant plus longtemps que lorsque la vitesse de téléchargement est supérieure à la vitesse de référence sélectionnée.
