Abstract

　車両を制御するための車両制御部３に接続される道路状況データ提供装置において、地図データを格納する地図データ格納部５と、自車の現在位置を表す位置情報を取得する位置情報取得部４と、異常運転を検出する異常検出部１と、異常検出部で異常運転が検出された場合に、地図データ格納部から取得した地図データに含まれる道路データおよび駐車スペースデータと、位置情報取得部で取得された位置情報から得られた自車の現在位置および進行方向を表すデータとに基づき、自車の現在位置、走行中の道路種別、道路状況または進行方向に存在する停車可能な場所の少なくとも１つ含む道路状況データを生成して車両制御機器に送る制御部２とを備えている。
