Abstract
相手部材との摺接面を有する金属/樹脂複合物品において、充分な接合強度で金属と樹脂が一体化され、長期に亘って安定して摺動性を維持でき、摺動時や衝撃時に発生する音を低減できるように、上記金属の少なくとも摺接する側の面に水酸基含有皮膜が形成され、且つ該水酸基含有皮膜表面に樹脂が一体的に固着されている。例えば樹脂被覆歯車の場合、金属製歯車1aの歯部2の歯面3に、温水処理により水酸基含有皮膜4を形成した後、金型6内にセットする。その後、湯口8から溶融した熱可塑性樹脂を流し込み、キャビティ7の内周面と歯面の水酸基含有皮膜により形成される空間に熱可塑性樹脂を充填する。その後、得られた製品の熱可塑性樹脂表面を切削加工することにより、樹脂被覆歯車1が得られる。
