Abstract

　車両周辺の情景が撮影された広域撮影データが、表示装置に同じ視野で表示させるための広域表示データと、広域撮影データの中の一部を拡大して表示させるための拡大表示データとに変換可能に構成される。表示装置の画面上で、広域表示と拡大表示とを切り替える際、切り替え前の表示データ（Ｖ１）上において切り替え後の表示データに対応する対象領域が画面上のに強調領域（Ｅ）として設定され、強調表示される。強調領域（Ｅ）の面積が切り替え後の表示データ上における対象領域の面積と同じになるまで、強調領域（Ｅ）の面積が変化し、最後に、強調領域（Ｅ）に切り替え後の表示データが表示される。
