Abstract

 排気通路が途中で折り返された小型の排気浄化装置において、下流側の排気通路に配置されたNOX触媒に対して、還元剤を拡散させて流入させることができる排気浄化装置を提供する。  排気浄化装置の筐体は、上流側の排気通路及び下流側の排気通路が収容された本体部と、上流側の排気通路の出口側開口及び下流側排気通路の入口側開口が設けられた本体部の第1の面に装着された蓋部と、を含み、折返部は本体部及び蓋部によって囲まれる空間からなっており、本体部の第1の面又は蓋部における第1の面に対向する第2の面の少なくともいずれか一方の面に、第1の面及び第2の面と交差する方向に沿って配置され排気ガスの流れを導くためのガイド部と、ガイド部によって導かれる排気ガスの流れの途中に配置され排気ガス中への還元剤の混合を促進させるための還元剤拡散部と、を備える。
