Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Kühlen eines Wasserstoff und Wasserdampf enthaltenen Prozessgases, welches in einer Wasserstoffgewinnungsanlage durch Dampfreformieren erzeugt wird. Das Prozessgas (5) wird auf eine Temperatur unterhalb der Kondensationstemperatur des im Prozessgas enthaltenen Wasserdampfes gekühlt und das dabei anfallende Prozesskondensat (12) wird abgeschieden. Die Enthalpie des Prozesskondensates (12) wird beispielsweise durch Rückführen des Prozesskondensats (12) in den Dampfreformerprozess oder durch Erwärmen eines Stoffstromes genutzt. Erfindungsgemäß wird das Prozessgas (5) in mindestens einem Kontaktapparat (9) mit einer Kühlflüssigkeit beaufschlagt, wobei durch Direktkühlung zumindest ein Teil des aus dem Prozessgas abzuscheidenden Wasserdampfes kondensiert und mit der Kühlflüssigkeit ausgeschieden wird.
