Abstract

The invention concerns an integral passage concealed nasal dilator, which contributes to significant improvements in performance for the person using it, when compared to known dilators and whose improvements concern safety for beginners, safer and quicker extraction, increase in separation of the nostril, concealment and use of the dilator at any time of the day, adjustment depending on the morphology of various nasal configuration and minimizes the resistance to passage of air through the nose.

INTEGRAL HIDDEN NASAL DILATOR

OBJECT OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to a hidden nasal dilator of integral pathway, thanks to which important and notable performance improvements are achieved for the person who uses it, in relation to known dilators and whose improvement affects:

The security system for beginners or insecure users, during use. - The safest and fastest extraction system of the dilator.

- The ability to increase the separation of the nostril until the nose meets the skull from the upper part to the lower part attached to the skull, creating an integral pathway.

- Device for separating the walls of the skin that surrounds the bone perforation, between bone and septum.

- Its design allows it to cooperate in clearing the pathway in severe nasal obstructions.

- Its design and technology allows concealment and use of the dilator at any time of day, which enables its use in social and daily activities, due to its unbeatable aesthetic qualities.

- Its design and technology allows it to be adjusted, depending on the morphology of the various nasal configurations, inside the nostril.

Its design and technology confer a form that minimizes even more the resistance to the passage of air, which increases the ventilation capacity of the person.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

The various existing nasal dilators are known, all of which tend to widen the air passage orifice in the middle part of the nose, being generally of two types: external and internal.

- Within the first (external) we find dilators that are totally visible and therefore are not very aesthetic, limiting the social environment of use (confining them to the home or sports areas). Likewise, the effectiveness of said dilators is subject to the degree of normality and health of the nostril, since if the totally inflamed fossa is found, its effectiveness is reduced. Among the most common forms of these dilators are

- Within the second (internal) we find two variants of dilators: the visible and the non-visible.

The visible ones require a visible support for the lower part of the nose and must be used in unison in the two nostrils, thus being equally unsightly, limiting the use to a non-public environment. These are rigid and have a small contact surface, which implies a strong sense of discomfort and a difficult adaptability (see utility model with N ⁰ Sol. U8903070, U8803129, U0191829).

One not visible known has a difficult adjustment, because it has a cylindrical shape and difficult to moldability, because the person has to use different sizes as required by his nostril, since the opening of the air passage orifice varies depending on the state of the individual (resting, agitated, nervous, cracked, etc.) (See utility model with N ⁰ Sol. E96906134).

The other, not visible with N ⁰ Sol U200402368, is only limited to dilating or separating the nasal wall from the nasal septum to approximately 2/3 of the length of the nose, it is not complete. In addition, it does not have a safe means of extraction, it does not have a means that allows to pass a safety or reassuring rope, it does not have an expander that allows its adjustment according to the height of the nose, does not allow the use in the nostril a greater passage in the bone of the skull because its expander is not adjustable and does not have a part that separates the septum from the skin that surrounds the hollow of the skull.

To overcome the inconveniences of these types of dilators, the owner of the present development, Don Carlos Muñoz Franke, made a new dilator, whose characteristics are the object of the present invention.

DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

Hidden nasal dilator of integral route, mechanical element that separates the nasal walls and / or the nasal valve preventing the blockage of the respiratory duct from the tip of the nose to / or beyond the bone hole of the skull.

SUBSTITUTE SHEET (RULE 26) It is kept inside the nostril, taking advantage of the morphological characteristics of the nose.

It consists of at least three of the five parts (assemblies or solidarity) clearly identifiable: extractor, support, extender, expander and / or separator. See figures.

(1) The extractor designed to allow the dilator to be removed from the nose easily and safely.

(2) The support designed to allow the dilator to remain in position inside the nose, relying on the cavity (basin) that has the internal part of the tip of the nose.

(3) The extender designed to allow the adjustment of the dilator in length to adapt to the morphology of the nose in height and / or length. As well, keep the side wall separated from the partition. (4) The expander designed to allow the work of separating the walls of the upper internal part of the nose (nasal valve), facilitating the entry of air and serving as a stop. (5) The separator designed to separate the innermost membranes of the respiratory tract, in the most severe anomalies.

SUBSTITUTE SHEET (RULE 26) DESCRIPTION OF A PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

The preferred embodiment set forth below is for guidance purposes, and it is of interest to this part to clarify that it is an embodiment within a wide range of developed embodiments, all of which are equally viable.

The exposed nasal dilator of the integral integral route is composed of five solidarity parts, each with its respective technologies:

(1) The extractor is conformed by a turn, allowing the easy removal of the dilator, as well as serving as a reassuring ring for beginners.

(2) The support is configured by a pair of spirals or a sphere, which rest on the inner front lower part of the nostril, allowing the dilator to remain in place.

(3) The extender is the connector between the expander and the support or attachment point. (4) The expander is configured by a few separate and adjustable turns, distributed in different directions and shapes, to fit in the upper part of the nostril, prevent the passage of the dilator to the innermost part of the airway, keep separate the high nasal walls that give access to the middle turbinate, etc.

(5) The separator is configured by a few turns, of different diameter, to be introduced into the innermost airway (middle turbinate). The length and application of this will depend on the recommendations of the doctors. This allows the internal walls of the nostril to be separated behind the cranial bone, in those users who suffer more severe obstructions.

The five parts have a design that protects the delicate internal parts of the nose.

It is a device, with a high degree of flexibility and deformation to allow its adjustment in the nasal cavity and its deformation before possible pressures or impacts, reducing the pressure on the internal and more internal nasal walls. The dimensions will be adjusted to the needs of the users or to the specifications of the doctor.

The hidden nasal dilator of the exposed integral pathway is constructed by a metallic soul that favors its configuration and shape, and a plastic envelope that avoids the contact of the metal with the walls of the nostril, as well as increasing the contact surface in order to avoid The possible laceration and avoid adverse reactions that the metal could produce. The GENERIC characteristics of the nasal dilator consist of: - Allowing the nostrils blocked by physical contingencies (deviated septum, nasal asymmetry, etc.) to allow air to pass through.

- Provide a means that prevents the closure of the nostril caused by drying, irritation, allergy or other contingency, allowing the passage of air through the nose reducing or preventing breathing by mouth. - Reduce the resistance to breathing, reducing physical wear and tear derived from said effort and increasing pulmonary ventilation.

The ESSENTIAL and DIFFERENTIATING characteristics of our nasal dilator, which in turn are the great advantages, consist of: - Increasing the safety of use, which makes it more reassuring for the user.

Facilitate and expedite the removal of the dilator, which reduces the possible bad impression when removed in the presence of the public.

- Improve the shape of the lateral wall of the nose, for those users who have very sunken nasal walls.

- Promote the dilation of the nostril so that it creates an integral path from the tip to the base.

Provide a solution to severe nasal obstructions.

- Total absence of external parts to the nose, which makes it not visible. This enables it to be used at any time of day (day or night use) without evidencing its presence to allow its use in any social act, which implies an unbeatable aesthetic quality and improvement of the quality of life (does not include sports of Contact).

- Allows individual use per pit, since physical anomalies can occur in a pit or, less likely, the two graves.

- It allows easy handling and use by inexperienced people, thanks to its configuration and its materials, which makes cleaning, care and use easier.

Its use is described in summary form: Once the nasal dilator is molded to the characteristics of the nose, the dilator is grasped by the support, it is inserted through the nostril until the expander contacts the bone hole in the skull, making sure that the separator enters gently into the airway, then the support is seated in the front internal cavity of the nostril. The dilator is already in place. To remove it, the dilator is taken by the extractor and removed from the nostril.

Although the present invention has been described with reference to preferred embodiments, it can be carried out in other embodiments without departing from the scope of the invention, which would also enjoy the protection sought. This invention may therefore be carried out as a whole and its component parts, with the most suitable materials, media, components, shapes and accessories, the component elements being able to be replaced by other technically equivalent ones, as all of this falls within the claims.
