Abstract
Disclosed is a magnet having excellent magnetic characteristics, which does not require a high temperature environment during molding. Also disclosed is a method for producing such a magnet. Specifically disclosed is a magnet (10) comprising a magnetic particle (11) whose surface is covered with a coating film (12) which is formed by a film compound having a reactive functional group at an end of the molecule, and a crosslinking agent (13) having a plurality of crosslinking groups each of which reacts with a functional group and forms a bond. The covered magnetic particle (11) is molded and cured through a bond which is formed by a reaction between a functional group and a crosslinking group.
