Abstract

A thermal labeler which can eliminate the need for changing a die requiring a long time and a large cost while controlling the running cost. The thermal labeler comprises a unit (10) for delivering a label forming material (M), a unit (20) performing sequential laser cutting of the label forming material (M) thus delivered to form lines for cutting a thermal label of predetermined shape in a substrate, a unit (30) for separating the thermal label from the label forming material (M) where cut lines are formed in the substrate, a unit (40) for sticking the thermal label separated from the label forming material (M) to the outer circumferential surface at the body portion of a PET bottle (B), a unit (50) for receiving the thermal label separated from the label forming material (M) by the label separation unit (30) and delivering it to the label sticking unit (40), a unit (60) for conveying the PET bottle (B), and a unit (70) for collecting the label forming material (M) from which the thermal label is separated.
