Abstract

Verwendung eines Leuchtstoffes mit der Formel (Y1-x-yYbxEry)2O3 mit x ≤ 0,20 und y ≤ 0,075 als Sicherheitsmerkmal mit Anti-Stokes-Lumineszenz. Diese Leuchtstoffe zeigen bei Anregung mit einem IR-Laser zwei Peaks im Bereich von 540 nm und 670 nm, deren Intensitätsverhältnis stark schwankt und nicht nur vom Anteil von Yb und Er abhängt, sondern z.B. auch von der Teilchengröße. Wenn der Leuchtstoff in Form von Nanopartikeln, vorzugsweise mit einer Größe von 0,1-0,5 µm, vorliegt, wird nicht nur der Peak bei 670 nm begünstigt, sondern es ergibt sich auch der Vorteil, dass die Nanopartikel unter normalem Licht unsichtbar sind und die Druckqualität nicht verschlechtern. Es wird auch eine Sicherheitsdruckfarbe mit einem derartigen Leuchtstoff beansprucht, weiters ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung zum Überprüfen eines Dokuments sowie ein Dokument mit einem derartigen Leuchtstoff als Sicherheitsmerkmal.
