Background Art
As shown in FIG. 1, the underground outer wall may be generally waterproofed by sufficiently drying a concrete layer 10 as a base substrate, forming a primer layer 20 by applying a primer liquid on the concrete layer 10 with a roller or brush, forming a waterproof layer 30 and then attaching a PE foaming layer of 2cm or more as the protective layer on the waterproof layer 30 after applying adhesive on it Accordingly, the waterproof layer 30 and the protective layer 40 must be individually formed, and also, the protective layer 40 may be easily broken and have many joints to be individually taped because it is formed by laying foaming sheets of a predetermined size. In addition, the adhesive applied between the waterproof layer 30 and the PE foaming layer 40 may not have an adherence at a sub-zero temperature, accordingly workers must stop construction. The waterproof layer 30 and the PE foaming layer 40 may be integrated because they have a slippery surface and a high surface tension and the PE foaming layer 40 may be easily broken by foreign materials such as gravel and grit. Accordingly, as shown in FIG. 2, the waterproofed and filled underground 50 may be naturally compacted or a support plate for the underground 50 may be removed and the underground is subsided, the waterproof layer may be removed and broken by a soil pressure, for example, parallel load or vertical load, and thus a leak of the underground outer wall may be occurred. In addition, the waterproof layer 30 may be always exposed or deteriorated and the waterproof layer 30 may not be closely followed on the concrete layer 10. Accordingly, the waterproof layer 30 has got loosed or be leaked. In order that the waterproof layer 30 may not have got loosed from the concrete layer 10, the primer layer 20 must be cured for a long time. At this time, workers must apply an adhesive layer 41 on the primer layer 20 or the waterproof layer 30 with a brush or roller for a long time. Also, the primer layer 20 or the adhesive layer 41 is applied; toxic materials may be spread on air. The underground structure is not ventilated so that the toxic materials are stayed for a long time therein. Detailed Description of Invention Technical Problem

Hereinafter, preferred exemplary embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the attached drawings. FIG. 3 is a cross-sectional view of a self-adhesive composite waterproof sheet according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 4 is a perspective view illustrating how to waterproof a underground outer wall using a self-adhesive composite waterproof sheet according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention,
FIG. 5 is a cross-sectional view for illustrating how a separative- induction layer of a self-adhesive composite waterproof sheet is peeled off at a ground subsidence according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention. Referring to FIG. 3, a self-adhesive composite waterproof sheet 100 according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention includes a waterproof layer 110, a separative layer 130 disposed on the waterproof layer 110 for the purpose of increasing an elasticity and a waterproof characteristics of the waterproof layer, and a released paper 150 disposed on a lower surface of the waterproof layer 110,
The waterproof layer 110 includes a synthetic rubber layer 111 and a surface protective layer 113. The synthetic rubber layer 111 is formed and coated on a lower surface of the surface protective layer 113 with a uniform mixture of a butyl rubber (IIR) as a main polymer, reinforcing member, filler, and anti-agent. According to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, the synthetic rubber layer 111 includes a 15wt% of butyl rubber, a 10wt% of carbon reinforcing member, a lwt% of plasticizer, a 25% of additive, a 49% of ground calcium carbonate filler. Such a synthetic rubber layer 111 is formed with a plurality of un-vulcanized rubber sheets. Accordingly, it may not spread a toxic material on air. Also, it has an excellent elasticity and adhesion so that it may be integrated at a joint without additional adhesives and it may provides an excellent waterproof, anti-noise, anti-vibration, and corrosion resistance. The self-adhesive composite waterproof sheet 100 has a joint portion 101 formed with the synthetic rubber layer 111 and the surface protective layer 113 so that at least two of self-adhesive composite waterproof sheets 100 may be connected each other without additional adhesive. In addition, a body portion 103 connected to the joint portion 101 may be finished with the joint portion 101 so tat a gab between a plurality of the self-adhesive composite waterproof sheets 100 may be sealed thereby being completely waterproofed. The self-adhesive composite waterproof sheet 100 has a total width Wl. The body portion 103 has a smaller width W2 by a width W3 of the joint portion 101 than the total width Wl. Since the waterproof layer 110 has the surface protective layer 113 on the synthetic rubber layer 111 and the released paper 150 is connected to the synthetic rubber layer 111, the self-adhesive composite waterproof sheet 100 may be easily rolled and easily carried without being stuck anywhere. The surface protective layer 113 may be formed of a high elastic TPU(thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer) or EPDM rubber to reinforce the synthetic rubber layer 111 in the coefficient of expansion and the strength. Accordingly, the surface protective layer 113 may provide a water-tight and integrated surface thereby providing a high quality. The surface protective layer 113 may be formed as at least one selected from a group of a thermoplastic polyurethane elastomers(TPU), a high density polyethylene(HDPE), a etylen vinyl acetat (E.V.A), a polyvinyl chloride(PVC), an ethylene/propylene/diene copolymer(EPDM), a polyethylene terephthalate(PET) film. Preferably, the surface protective layer 113 may be formed of ethylene/propylene/diene copolymer (EPDM) sheet. When the surface protective layer 113 may be formed of ethylene/propylene/diene copolymer (EPDM) sheet, the waterproof layer 110 may have a larger tension strength and elasticity so that it may compensate a movement of the concrete 10. The EPDM sheet may have a mixture rate described thereafter. (Table 1)
Figure imgf000008_0001
In addition, when the surface protective layer 113 may be formed of TPU sheet, it may have a high coefficient of extension, anti-vibration, and corrosion resistance so that the waterproof layer may not be easily broken; have a light weight, and uniform and high elastic soft characteristics. Accordingly, the waterproof layer 110 may be used water-tightly and adequately for any shape, for example, a joint, a drain, though pipe, or edge as a reinforcing sheet. The separative layer 130 of the self-adhesive composite waterproof sheet 100 includes a first protective layer 131, a second protective layer 133, and a separative-induction layer 135 for induce a peeling off of the first protective layer 131 from the second protective layer 133. The first and second protective layer 131 and 133 may protect the waterproof layer 110 and insulate it. It may be formed with at least one selected from a group of a glass fiber non-woven fabric, polyethylene(PE) non-woven fabric, polypropylene(PP) non-woven fabric, polyethylene terephthalate(PET) non-woven fabric, a high density polyethylene(HDPE) non-woven fabric, or woven fabrics. Preferably, it may be form of polyester non-woven fabric. When the first and the second protective layer 131 and 133 are form of polyester non-woven fabric, the self-adhesive composite waterproof sheet 100 may be thinner and lighter and have a sufficient protective layer against foreign materials at a ground subsidence because the polyester non-woven fabric has a high corrosion resistance and durability and may be easily compressed. The first and the second protective layer 131 and 133 may be connected each other by the separative induction layer 135, which is formed by a punching or sewing. Accordingly, the first and the second protective layer 131 and 133 may be separated when the earth pressure is over a predetermined value. Specifically, when the bonding strength of between an outer wall and the synthetic rubber layer, the bonging strength of between the outer wall concrete layer 10 and the waterproof layer 110 is set as 100%, the bonding strength of between the waterproof layer(llθ), the separative layer 130 may be set as 80% and the bonding strength of between the first and second separative layers 131 and 133, that is, the separative layer 135 may be set as about 20% so that the separative layer may be separated first of all and subsided along with the ground on the ground subsidence by the lateral earth pressure or longitudinal earth pressure thereby protecting the waterproof from being broken. As shown in FIG. 4, since the separative layer 130 is formed of the non-woven fabric, the bonding strength of between the separative layer 130 and the waterproof layer 110 is remarkably decreased than the bonding strength of between the waterproof layer 110 and the outer wall 10 while the synthetic rubber layer 111 and the surface protective layer 113 are integrated and strongly combined by the surface tension thereof. Accordingly, when the earth pressure is applied, the separative-induction layer 135 of the separative layer 130 is broken so that the second protective layer 133 may be separated slippery. In addition, when the ground has undergone several subsidences, the separated induction layer 135 may be repeatedly subsided thereby protecting the waterproof layer 130.
Hereinafter, how to waterproof an underground outer wall using a self-adhesive composite waterproof sheet according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention is described in detail. According to the self-adhesive composite waterproof sheet 100 of the present invention, the synthetic rubber layer is formed in a sheet by applying with a uniform mixture of a butyl rubber (HR) as a main polymer, reinforcing member, filler, and anti-agent. The surface protective layer 113 uses the soft ethylene/ propylene/ diene copolymer (EPDM) having a thickness of about 0.5mm uniformaly coated on the synthetic rubber layer. The waterproof layer 110 and the released paper 150 have a width of about IM, a thickness of about 1.0mm, a length of about 5M. In the separative layer 130, the first separative layer 131 is formed with the woven fabric or non-woven fabric having a thickness of about 4.0mm, a width of about 95cm, and a length of about 5M and the second separative layer 133 is formed with the woven fabric or non-woven fabric having a thickness of about 1.5mm, a width of about 95cm, and a length of about 5M, and the separative induction layer 135 is formed by punching them at an edge thereof. At this time, since the separative layer 130 has a width of about 95cm and the width of the separative layer 130 is smaller than that of the waterproof layer 110 by about 5cm, the joint portion 101 may be connected to each other. When the underground outer wall is waterproofed using a roll of the self-adhesive composite waterproof sheet 100, as shown in FIG. 4, the underground outer wall 10 is sufficiently dried, maintained at a crack portion thereof, and cleaned/ the primer layer 20 is applied on the underground outer wall 10, the roll of the self adhesive composite waterproof sheet is cut with a predetermined length, the released paper 150 is removed from the waterproof layer 110, and then the cut self adhesive composite waterproof sheet is simply laid. In addition, the plurality of the laid self adhesive composite waterproof sheets have a joint portion 101 closely connected and integrated to each other without taping. In addition, the self-adhesive composite waterproof sheet have a un-vulcanization not to spread toxic material in air and have an enough low-temperature resistance to maintain an adhesion at -30° C so that it may be operated at any time.
As shown in FIG. 5, when the ground is subsided, the separative induction layer 135 has undergone a predetermined earth pressure to be broken. In addition, when several subsidence are repeated, the broken separative induction layer 135 may be sequentially separated to protect the waterproof layer 110.
While this invention has been described in connection with what is presently considered to be practical exemplary embodiments, it is to be understood that the invention is not limited to the disclosed embodiments, but, on the contrary, is intended to cover various modifications and equivalent arrangements included within the spirit and scope of the appended claims.
