Abstract

【課題】　インスタントメッセージサービスにおけるユーザ間で相互に通信相手のプレゼンス状態をリアルタイムに知り得ると共にメッセージ種別の異なる通信相手とのメッセージの送受信を可能とする。 【解決手段】　ＩＰＭサーバが、ＳＭＳクライアント、ＭＭＳクライアント、およびＩＰＭクライアントから送り込まれるインスタントメッセージのメッセージ種別を送信先の端末に適合するように変換し、前記クライアントが通信可能であるか否かのプレゼンス状態情報を取得し、前記取得したプレゼンス状態情報を前記クライアントにそれぞれ通知する。
