Abstract

 燃焼器(3)やそれに至る燃料ガス供給配管(4)への燃料ガス中のガム状物質の付着堆積を安価且つ簡易に推測、検知するためのガム状物質監視装置(10)であって、燃焼器(3)に燃料ガスを供給するための燃料ガス供給配管(4)から分岐して配設された、前記燃料ガスの一部をサンプルガスとして流通させるための検出配管(11)と、この検出配管(11)に配設された、燃料ガス中に生じるガム状物質の付着の程度を検出するガム状物質検出装置(12)とを備えており、このガム状物質検出装置(12)が、前記燃料ガス供給配管(4)のうち検出配管(11)との分岐点(C1)より下流側に位置するガム状物質監視対象部の燃料ガス配管を模擬して形成されたサンプルガス流通用の模擬通路(15A)を有する模擬通路部材(15)を有し、且つ、この模擬通路部材(15)へのガム状物質の付着程度が検出されうるように構成されている。
