Abstract

A sleeve with axially extending through-hole, produced by sintering a copper-coated iron powder consisting of an iron powder having its surface coated with copper or a copper alloy. The copper coating ratio based on the iron powder is in the range of 28 to 42 wt.%. The ratio of copper-coated iron powder contained is in the range of 70 to 98 wt.% based on the total weight of materials constructing the sleeve (21).
