Abstract

　信頼性の高いシステムを構築することができる。 　デバイス構成手段（２）は、データの記憶対象である複数のテープデバイス（Ｔ１）、（Ｔ２）の互いの終端と先端とを仮想的に接続して論理的なループを形成したセカンダリデバイス（Ｄ１）を構成する。逐次書き込み手段（３）は、プライマリデバイスにデータが書き込まれるタイミングとほぼ同時にこのデータに対する冗長データをセカンダリデバイスに逐次書き込む。バックアップ手段（４）は、プライマリデバイスに格納されているデータのフルバックアップを、セカンダリデバイスの前回のフルバックアップの開始位置より前で開始する。
