Abstract

　粗テレフタル酸の水素化精製において、粗テレフタル酸と水を混合してスラリーを調製したのち、加熱・溶解工程を経て水溶液とし、水素化精製反応工程に供給するに際して、調製・供給するスラリーの濃度の変動がしばしば該精製反応の連続運転に障害となっていた。 そのため、スラリー濃度の変動幅の小さい、安定した濃度のスラリーを調製・供給することが課題となった。 撹拌機付きスラリー調製槽へ供給する水の量を基準に、所定比率（所定濃度）の粗テレフタル酸を供給量を調節し、混合してスラリーを調製する（1次調整）。そしてポンプによるスラリーの外部循環を行いながらその濃度を測定し、所定濃度になるようポンプ吸引側からの水の供給量を調節してスラリー濃度を調整して（2次調整）、濃度の変動幅の小さいスラリーを調製する。 次いで、循環ラインから分岐した高圧ポンプにより調製スラリーを加熱・溶解工程に連続して供給する方法。
