Abstract
【課題】 本発明は光学素子の位置の変動に対して安定で,偏光状態が励起パワーに依存しない円筒対称偏光を含む一様でない任意の偏光分布を有するレーザー共振器を提供すること。 【解決手段】 共振器を構成する光学素子の少なくともひとつに任意方位に透過軸を有する反射型偏光子を用い,特定の位置に特定の偏光成分のみが安定共振条件となるようにレーザー共振器を構成する。具体的には,上記課題は,第1の反射鏡(1)と,入射した光の強度を増幅する光増幅器(2)と,光増幅器(2)から出射した光の一部を反射するとともに,一部を透過する第2の反射鏡(3)と,を具備するレーザー共振器において,第2の反射鏡(3)は,同心円状に透過軸を有する反射型偏光素子,又は同心円状に反射軸を有する反射型偏光素子を具備するレーザー共振器などにより解決される。
