Abstract

　コストをあまりかけることなく、どのような道路等であっても、信号機等の機器から発せられるシグナルを運転者等の操作者に的確に報知することが可能な情報報知装置及び情報報知方法等を提供する。 　本願は、移動体を基準として所定方向に存在する機器から発せられるシグナルであって、当該移動体の操作者により視認可能で且つ所定時間間隔で変化するシグナルに関する情報を前記操作者に対して報知する情報報知装置において、前記移動体に設置されたカメラにより撮影された画像情報であって前記所定方向における前記機器を含む画像情報を取り込む画像情報取込手段と、前記取り込まれた画像情報に基づいて、前記シグナルを認識するシグナル認識手段と、前記認識されたシグナルに関する情報を前記操作者に対して報知する報知手段と、を備える。
