Abstract

The invention relates to novel filling material for receiving animal excrement and said material being used, in particular, as cat litter. The invention also relates to a method for producing said filling material. Said filling material is made of, essentially, ground cereal grains and partially of complete cereal grains. The individual parts of the different types of cereals and the corn kernels are mixed together according to a defined mixing ratio and the humidity degree should not exceed 15 %.
