Abstract

A method and a device for transporting NGH under high pressure to a place under normal pressure. In the method for transporting natural gas hydrate (hereafter, referred to as NGH) manufactured by reacting water with a natural gas under high pressure to a place under normal pressure by a screw feeding device, the screw feeding device (1) comprises a barrel (10) having an NGH supply port (12) at one end and a screw shaft (11) supported inside the barrel (10). A closed wall body (30) in which a discharge port (13) is opened is installed at the end of the barrel (10) or at the portion thereof arranged continuously to the end of the barrel. A pressurizing chamber (2) having a predetermined capacity is formed between the tip end of the screw shaft (11) and the closed wall body (30). When the NGH in the pressurizing chamber (2) is temporarily stagnated by opening and closing a valve device (16), the NGH can be released to the low pressure zone side while the supply side high pressure is maintained during the transfer of the NGH via the screw feeding device (1).
