Abstract
広域網に余分な負荷をかけることなく、エッジスイッチのアクセスポートのつなぎ替えに伴う学習内容の消去または書き換えの自動化を行い、かつ、保守者の誤接続による網への悪影響の防止を行うため、ユーザ網をエッジスイッチのアクセスポートに接続する通信モジュールに備えられた記憶手段に、接続先のアクセスポートの識別番号を記憶しておく。エッジスイッチは、アクセスポートへの通信モジュールの接続を検出し、接続された通信モジュールの記憶手段に記憶された識別番号を読み出して該通信モジュールが接続されたアクセスポートの識別番号と比較し、ユーザ網の接続替えの判定を行い、通信モジュールの記憶手段に記憶されていた識別番号と通信モジュールが接続替えで接続されたアクセスポートの識別番号を広域網内のスイッチに通知する。
