Abstract

Eine insbesondere zur Behandlung von Knochen- und/oder Knorpeldefekten vorgesehene Zusammensetzung enthält mindestens ein Kollagen insbesondere tierischen Ursprungs, welches vorzugsweise mindestens einen osteoinduktiven oder chondroinduktiven Wirkstoff aufweist. Weiter enthält die Zusammensetzung mindestens einen Zusatz aus mindestens einem Differenzierungs- und/oder Wachstumsfaktor mit osteo- und/oder chondrostimulativer Wirkung. Weiter können zusätzlich Füllmaterialien, insbesondere Füllmaterialien mit osteokonduktiven Eigenschaften enthalten sein. In einem Verfahren zur Herstellung der beschriebenen Zusammensetzung wird zunächst das Kollagen bereitgestellt und mit den genannten Zusätzen vermischt. Dann werden alle in der Mischung enthaltenen Bestandteile zu einem mindestens teilweise formstabilen, schwammartigen Körper colyophilisiert.
