Abstract

　ガラス製の外管グローブが割れても落下する恐れがなく、且つ螺旋状発光管の最冷点箇所となる突出部とシリコン樹脂との間の熱抵抗を小さくできる電球形蛍光ランプを提供することを目的とする。 　螺旋状発光管２の電極側端部が固定されるプレート８と、一端に口金５が接合され、他端の開口部側にプレート８が固定されるハウジング４と、ハウジング４の開口部側で、ハウジング４とプレート８との隙間に挿入固定され、螺旋状発光管２を収納する外管グローブ６と、螺旋状発光管２の反電極側の端部に設けられ、最冷点箇所になる突出部２ａと、突出部２ａと外管グローブ６との間を熱的に連結するシリコン樹脂１０と、突出部２ａに設けられ、外管グローブ６がプレート８に沿って開口部円周状に割れた場合に、割れた外管グローブ６をシリコン樹脂１０を介して保持する拡径部２ｂとを備えたことを特徴とする。
