Abstract

 ガラス製の外管グローブが割れても落下する恐れがなく、且つ螺旋状発光管の最冷点箇所となる突出部とシリコン樹脂との間の熱抵抗を小さくできる電球形蛍光ランプを提供することを目的とする。  螺旋状発光管2の電極側端部が固定されるプレート8と、一端に口金5が接合され、他端の開口部側にプレート8が固定されるハウジング4と、ハウジング4の開口部側で、ハウジング4とプレート8との隙間に挿入固定され、螺旋状発光管2を収納する外管グローブ6と、螺旋状発光管2の反電極側の端部に設けられ、最冷点箇所になる突出部2aと、突出部2aと外管グローブ6との間を熱的に連結するシリコン樹脂10と、突出部2aに設けられ、外管グローブ6がプレート8に沿って開口部円周状に割れた場合に、割れた外管グローブ6をシリコン樹脂10を介して保持する拡径部2bとを備えたことを特徴とする。
