Abstract
本発明は、管状器官の湾曲部に対して柔軟に変形することができ挿入時に長手方向の収縮が少なく容易に取り扱うことが可能なステント及び管状器官の治療具を提供する。ステント(1)は、5つの筒状ユニット体を軸方向に配列して連結糸Fにより連結して管状に一体形成されている。各筒状ユニットは、金属製線材を所定の長さに切断して周方向にジグザグ状に折り曲げて両端部を接続固定し、閉ループ状に形成されている。筒状ユニット体Wは、軸方向に突出した2つの屈曲部が形成されて筒状ユニット体(U1)に連結されており、揺動可能に保持されている。同様に筒状ユニット体(V)も筒状ユニット体(W)に揺動可能に保持されてステント全体が湾曲形状に容易に変形することができる。筒状ユニット体には軸方向にわたって形状記憶合金材料からなる形状保持部材(X1)及び(X2)が取り付けられて湾曲状態に保持される。
