Abstract

It is intended to provide a microchip inspection system whereby bubbles that are occasionally formed within a liquid in a detection section by, for example, heating the detection section can be removed and thus detection can be conducted at a high accuracy. This object is achieved by using a microchip inspection system comprising: a microchip which contains at least a target substance and a reagent binding specifically to the target substance and in which the target substance is reacted with the above-described reagent and the reaction is detected at the detection section; a microchip storing section in which the microchip can be stored; a photo detection section which is provided corresponding to the microchip stored in the microchip storing section and in which the reaction is detected; a debubbling unit by which bubbles in the detection section of the microchip stored in the microchip storing section are removed; and a controlling unit by which the photo detection section is controlled so that the reaction is detected after driving the debubbling unit.
