Abstract

　本発明は、癌細胞由来のＤＮＡを定量して癌の診断を高精度に行う方法の提供に関し、（１）被験者から採取した血漿より遊離ＤＮＡを抽出する工程と、（２）抽出した遊離ＤＮＡを定量して、血漿単位体積あたりの遊離ＤＮＡ含有量を算出して第一の算出値とする工程と、（３）前記第一の算出値を、第一の閾値以上の第二の閾値と比較する工程と、（４）前記第一の算出値が、第一の閾値未満の場合には、被験者が癌に罹患していない可能性が高いと判定し、第一の閾値以上かつ第二の閾値未満の場合には、被験者が癌に罹患している可能性があると判定し、第二の閾値以上の場合には、正常細胞由来のＤＮＡが定量に用いた血漿中に混入していると判定する工程と、を含むことを特徴とする癌の診断方法。
