Abstract

 本発明は、バッテリの定格出力を超える超過出力を使用可能とすることで、車両の性能を向上させることを目的とする。内燃機関と電動機の両方からの動力を使用して車両を走行させる場合には、アクセル開度が所定開度よりも大きいときやエンジンを始動するときに、超過出力要求フラグFoutに1をセットする(S170、S260)。Foutに1をセットすることは、バッテリに超過出力を要求することを意味する。運転者がEVスイッチを操作するなどして、電動機のみにより車両を走行させる場合には、Foutに1をセットしないように制御する(S130、S240、S250)。こうすることで、必要な場面でバッテリの性能を発揮させることができ、車両の性能をより向上させることができる。
