Abstract

The present invention relates to a gypsum-based facing panel (1), essentially intended for building walls, partitions, or ceilings, including a gypsum web (2), each large surface which is associated with a carton board (31, 32), characterised in that one of the carton boards (31) is associated with a paper sheet (4) used as a decoration for the gypsum plate, said paper sheet (4) being impregnated with a melamine-based resin for binding the carton board (31) and the paper sheet (4), the mass per m2 of the melamine-based resin being in a range from 60 to 330 g/m2.
