Abstract

Topical formulations of an inhibitor of nitric oxide synthase are provided. Said compositions may comprise a heterocyclic compound active as a selective inhibitor of iNOS, as well as one or more excipients, solvents, or carriers. In certain embodiments, the topical formulation is a gel.
