Abstract

A partition for an electrophoresis display panel is fabricated by the following method. At a gap material mixed resist layer forming step, a gap material-mixed resist layer where a gap material for keeping the distance between first and second substrates constant and a resist are mixed is formed on the first substrate (S10). At an exposure step at least after or during the gap material mixed resist layer forming step, the gap material-mixed resist layer or the resist is exposed to light through a mask having an aperture pattern for exposing the pattern of a partition (S30). At a developing step after the exposure step, the gap material-mixed resist layer is developed (S50).
