Abstract

 本発明は、全濃度画像域において、粒状性、画像均一性及び画像故障耐性に優れた画像を形成することができるライン方式のインクジェット記録装置を提供する。このインクジェット記録装置は、記録媒体に1パスで画像記録するライン方式で、高濃度画像形成用のインクジェット記録ヘッドAと、低濃度画像形成用のインクジェット記録ヘッドBを有し、インクジェット記録ヘッドAより吐出する活性エネルギー線硬化型インクをインクAとし、インクジェット記録ヘッドBより吐出する活性エネルギー線硬化型インクをインクBとしたとき、該インクAの25°Cにおける表面張力AST(mN/m)と、該インクBの25°Cにおける表面張力BST(mN/m)がAST<BSTで、かつ、インクAの顔料濃度Ad(質量%)と、該インクBの顔料濃度Bd(質量%)が0.5≦Bd/Ad≦1.0であることを特徴とする。
