Abstract
Provided is a line system inkjet recording apparatus which can form an image having excellent granular characteristics, image uniformity and image failure resistance over all concentration image areas. The inkjet recording apparatus is of a line system wherein the image is recorded on a recording medium by one path. The inkjet recording apparatus is provided with an inkjet recording head (A) for forming high concentration images, and an inkjet recording head (B) for forming low concentration images. When an active energy line curable ink jetted from the inkjet recording head (A) is represented as an ink (A), and an active energy line curable ink jetted from the inkjet recording head (B) as an ink (B), a surface tension AST(mN/m) of the ink (A) at 25°C and a surface tension BST(mN/m) of the ink (B) at 25°C satisfy an inequality of AST<BST, and a pigment concentration (Ad) (mass%) of the ink (A) and a pigment concentration (Bd) (mass%) of the ink (B) satisfy inequalities of 0.5≤Bd/Ad≤1.0.
