Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Radarsensor (20, 21) für die Steuerung von automatischen Türen (10), mit einem ein Radarsignal aussendenden und Reflexionssignale empfangenden Radarmodul und einer zugehörigen Steuerung, wobei der Radarsensor (20, 21) einen ersten Erfassungsbereich (22, 24) aufweist, in welchem er durch Auswertung von Dopplersignalen bewegte Objekte (26) erfasst. Die Türsteuerung wird dadurch vereinfacht und verbessert, dass der Radarsensor (20, 21) einen zweiten Erfassungsbereich (23, 25) aufweist, in welchem er den Abstand zu in diesem Bereich vorhandenen Objekten erfasst.
