Abstract

 本発明の課題は、より優れた製造効率をもって、レーザー加工に伴う刻印の外周縁部の盛り上がりを抑えると共に、刻印の表面粗さを確保することが可能であり、それによって、装用感および刻印で付与されたマークの視認性とが何れも両立して有利に発揮され得る、マーク付きコンタクトレンズの新規な製造方法および新規な構造のマーク付きコンタクトレンズを提供することにある。  かかる課題を解決するために、金型34の目的とするマーク26に対応する位置72を液66中に浸漬せしめた状態で該位置72にレーザー光を照射して刻印62を形成して、該刻印62を該金型34によって形成される樹脂型54を介して転写することによってレンズ前面12とレンズ後面14の少なくとも一方に該マーク26を付した。
