Description

ANIMAL WASTE COLLECTOR BAG
Field of the Patent
The present patent refers to a new constructive arrangement applied to an animal waste collector bag. It presents an innovative design and important functional improvements, according to modern hygiene concepts and according to the demanded specifications, having unique features and the fundamental requisites of novelty and inventive step, resulting in a series of real and extraordinary technical, practical and economical advantages.
Background of the Patent Many families own pets and are used to walking them on streets, avenues and boulevards, where there is great circulation of people.
Normally, these pets feel like evacuating and end up depositing their fecal matter on the ground where they stand because there is no time for the owner to return them to their houses. Once this happens, regardless on where this fecal matter was deposited, it is at least polite for the owner to collect such fecal matter.
The most common means used to collect the pet's fecal matter are plastic bags. The pet owner collects the fecal matter by putting his hand inside the bag, which is usually inside out, and holding the fecal matter and then envelops the fecal matter with the bag using his other hand. Even though the fecal matter is collected and not left at site, the user exposes himself to it and all of its germs, bacteria and infection provoking microorganisms.
Description of Prior Art
The Brazilian Patent Application BRMU840255-7, "Plastic Glove for the Collection of Animal Fecal Matter", discloses a glove comprising a thumb portion and a round compartment for the placement of the other fingers, on the entry place for the hand it comprises extensions on both sides for its closure by tying a knot so it can be properly placed in the garbage. The material used is an opaque polyethylene engraved with a logo. The functionality of this patent is very similar to the usual plastic bags.
A different solution is disclosed by the Brazilian Patent Application BRPI0403716- 2, "Constructive Arrangement Applied to a Vessel for Pet Feces and Urine", which is a vessel characterized for having and ensemble comprising a pierced vessel and a lid. Once filled with excrement, the ensemble formed by the vessel and the lid closed and the proper sealing of the ensemble is secured by projected members and a support base. The ensemble is then tipped over so the excrement and the sand can settle at the bottom of the lid in such manner to facilitate its discard in a totally hygienic operation. The object of this prior art patent application is completely different from the object of the present patent, being a much more complex solution.
Another solution is disclosed by the Brazilian Patent BRPI9505399-9, "Manual Collector of Pet Feces", which is a collector comprising two separate pieces, one of them comprising a handle and the other one being a fork or a "V" shaped part and on its side portions there are means for fixing a disposable bag. Such disposable bag comprises an ideal means for the collection of the feces in such a way to be thrown away in a public trash can or the like. However, this solution does not effectively meet the expectations of the general consumer.
In view of what was previously stated, studies were conducted in order to eliminate such drawbacks and, as a result of such studies, the object of the present patent was developed, enabling the conception of a new constructive arrangement applied to an animal waste collector bag, which made possible the collection of the animal's fecal matter in much more hygienic way than the usual manner, obtaining a final product with real economical possibilities of being mass produced, which also has better results and a raised security standard.
Objectives of the Patent
Therefore, one of the objectives of the present patent is providing an animal waste collector bag in order to enable its user to collect the fecal matter of the animals in a hygienic, fast and safe manner.
Another objective of the present patent is providing an animal waste collector bag that can be easily stored and carried without causing any drawbacks to its users.
Yet another objective of the present patent is providing an animal waste collector bag comprising rims which have tears in order to form a perfect closed ensemble by fitting each other.
Another objective of the present patent is obtained with the angular shaped rims which makes their placement inside the bag easier.
One of the objectives of the present patent is providing an animal waste collector bag with a peculiar deformation that allows the bag to be instantly ready to collect the feces, which is a sufficiently opened position in order to house the fecal matter to be collected.
Another objective of the present patent is obtained by manufacturing the bag with water proof material, therefore avoiding any unpleasant leaks of the collected matter. Brief Description of the Patent
The innovation disclosed by the present patent refers to an animal waste collector bag with a new constructive arrangement applied to it, created with important functional improvements, more specifically the procedure of integration of a resistant and water proof vessel, open on its top portion and sealed on its bottom portion, comprising side portions provided with folds that assist on the its opening for the placement of the fecal matter and its sealing afterwards. Such vessel comprises, on its top portion, two rims which are flat, smooth, relatively thin and of uniform thickness, being such rims internally fixed to said vessel on each one of its larger side portions. In order to collect the fecal matter, the user needs to place the opening of the vessel, holding the rims with each one of his hands and putting said rims under the fecal matter, which is later projected into the vessel by a spin movement at the same time the vessel is placed in its upright position. Then both rims are introduced inside the vessel in order to enable the closing of the bag. Said rims are provided with duly placed cuts, so one can be slid inside the other to lock the rims and prevent the exit of the fecal matter from the interior of the bag.
Brief Description of the Drawings
In order to have a better view of the present animal waste collector bag, some drawings were attached hereto. Reference will be made to those drawings on the following detailed description of the preferred embodiment of the present patent.
Figure 1 is a view of the present collector bag in a condition before its use and with the rims facing upwards;
Figure 2 is a view of the present collector bag in a partially opened condition with the rims also facing upwards; Figure 3 is a view of the present collector bag in an opened condition and about to collect a certain amount of animal fecal matter;
Figure 4 presents a view of the present collector bag with the collected fecal matter already inside it;
Figure 5 is a view of the present collector bag closed and with half of the rims in its interior, being the other halves on its exterior and fixed to each other;
Figure 6 is a top view of the rims showing them just before they are fixed to each other;
Figure 7 is a perspective view of the correct procedure for the collection of the animal waste; Figure 8 represents a flat view of the collector bag;
Figure 9 is a flat view of the rims of the collector bag.
Detailed Description of the Preferred Embodiment
According to the drawings and their details, the present animal waste collector bag comprises a resistant and water proof vessel (1), open on its top portion (2) and sealed on its bottom portion (3), having side portion duly provided with folds (4), which assist on its opening for the placement of the waste (5) and also on its closing afterwards, being said vessel (1) provided, on its top portion, with two rims (6), which are two flat, smooth, relatively thin and uniformly thick members, being such rims (6) internally fixed to said vessel (1) on each of its lager sides, and provided with cuts (7) to form a mortise (8).
We have no knowledge of any animal waste collector bag that has the same features and functionalities that were previously described.
The object of the present patent is therefore of great importance because it is a new manner of obtaining an animal waste collector bag, which completely meets the proposed objectives and duly fulfills its functions, enabling a series of advantages when used, having unique and innovative features and endowed with the fundamental requisites of novelty and inventive step, which are demanded for it to be granted patent protection.
