Abstract
It is an object to provide a magnetic recording device, an adjusting method for a light assist magnetic recording head and an adjusting device for a light assist magnetic recording head that can carry out stable magnetic recording. A magnetic recording device with a light assist magnetic recording head is provided with an irradiating optical system and a magnetic recording unit. The magnetic recording device is characterized in further comprising a light receiving element that receives a reflective component of light irradiated from the irradiating means, a branch optical system that guides the reflective light component to the light receiving element, a light amount calculating means that calculates a reflective light component amount, and a recording condition control means that controls conditions for recording information on the basis of the value calculated by the light amount calculating means.
