Abstract

The inventive naphthalan oil-based composition comprises a dearomatised white naphthalan in the form of a naphthalan oil, an emulsifier T1 or T2 in the form of an emulsion base and, in addition, aqueous extracts of medicinal plants at the following component ratio (in mass%): 12.5-30.0 mass% dearomatised white naphthalan and 3.0-7.0 mass% emulsifier, the aqueous extracts of medicinal plants being the rest. The inventive nafthalan oil-based paraffin-containing composition comprises the dearomatised white naphthalan, in addition, white petroleum jelly and oil extracts of medicinal plants at the following component ratio (in mass%): 15.0-45.0 mass% dearomatised white naphthalan, 2.0-6.0 mass% oil extracts and 15.0-20.0 mass% paraffin, the white petroleum jelly being the rest, wherein the compositions contain camomile and/or geranium and/or eucaliptus and/or clove and/or lavender and/or rose and/or diphasium and/ or myrthle and/or primose in the form of medicinal plants for the aqueous and oil extracts.

Description

COMPOSITION BASED ON NAFTALAN OIL

The invention relates to the creation of tools for the treatment and prevention of skin diseases and inflammatory diseases of the musculoskeletal system, namely, medicinal compositions based on naphthalan oil.

Preparations based on naphthalan oil are divided into emulsions (liniment), suppositories, pastes and ointments.

Ointment is known on the basis of refined naphthalan oil, to which 1 part of boric acid, zinc oxide and wheat starch are added, the rest is naphthalan oil (9 parts). (one)

Known pharmaceutical composition based on refined black naphthalan oil (70 parts) with paraffin (18 parts) and petrolatum (12 parts). (2)

Known antipruritic, bactericidal, wound healing emulsion based on Naftalan oil with an emulsion base taken in a ratio of 1:10. (3)

A known composition based on naphthalan oil and water (4). A disadvantage of the known formulations is that with prolonged use, burning begins at the site of application of the drug, dry skin, folliculitis and a persistent oil smell.

The prototype of the claimed emulsion composition is liniment based on black refined Naftalan oil and emulsion base. The prototype for the composition of the ointment is a composition based on refined naphthalan oil containing paraffin and petrolatum.

The objective of the invention is the creation of soft, without a specific oil smell, non-irritating skin compositions for the prevention and local treatment of inflammatory diseases, both skin and joints and muscles. The problem is solved in that the composition based on naphthalan oil containing an emulsion base, according to the invention, contains dearomatized white naphthalan as naphthalan oil, and contains Ti, or T ₂ emulsifier as an emulsion base, and additionally, aqueous extracts of medicinal plants in the following ratio of components mass%: dearomatized white naphthalan - 12.5-30; emulsifier - 3-7; water extracts of medicinal plants - the rest; A composition based on naphthalan oil containing paraffin according to the invention contains dearomatized white naphthalan as naphthalan oil, and additionally, white medical vaseline, oil extracts of medicinal plants, in the following ratio of components, mass. %: dearomatized white naphthalan-15-45; oil extracts-2-6; paraffin-15-20, medical white petrolatum, the rest, while the medicinal plants for the water or oil extracts of the composition contain chamomile and / or geranium, and / or eucalyptus, and / or clove, and / or lavender, and / or a rose, and / or diphazium, and / or myrtle, and / or primrose.

The essence of the invention lies in the fact that medicinal compositions for the local treatment of inflammatory diseases of both joints and muscles and the epidermis, by introducing new ingredients within the claimed limits, their quantitative ratio ensures the activation of metabolic processes in the skin, normalizes blood circulation, and eliminates stagnation in areas of inflammation, accelerate the penetration of active therapeutic substances into the affected areas, while not causing an allergic background.

In addition, all proposed compositions have bactericidal properties.

Medicinal plants selected as ingredients of the proposed compositions were subjected to extraction in oil and in water.

Water extracts were prepared by four decantation with distilled water at a temperature not exceeding 60 ⁰ C with constant stirring for 4 hours. If the total amount of plant extracts was introduced into the composition, then they were taken in equal amounts with constant stirring for 2 hours until a homogeneous mass was obtained. Oil extracts were prepared as follows: Dried medicinal plants were crushed and mixed in equal amounts, then the resulting mixture was poured with refined vegetable oil taken in a ratio of 1:10 and heated to 60 ⁰ C with constant stirring for 2 hours. Then this mixture is insisted for 3 to 5 days in a dark, cool place. After that, the resulting oil extract is subjected filtering to remove suspended particles.

As vegetable oil, you can use cottonseed, sunflower, corn, olive, etc.

Dearomatized white naphthalan is a non-tarred, colorless oily fraction of naphthalan oil, consisting mainly of polycyclic naphthenic hydrocarbons. This oil fraction is used as a basis in compositions for the treatment and prevention of inflammatory processes of skin diseases and diseases of joints and muscles.

Emulsifier brand Ti (FS 42-1596-81), or T ₂ (according to TU 18-17 / 05-67) which are introduced into the composition to create a strong and stable emulsion. This product does not cause side effects on human skin, with T ₁ HT ₂ ,

As studies have shown, the introduction of water or oil extracts of medicinal plants into a composition based on naphthalan oil enhances the effect of the permeability of biologically active substances into human tissues, thereby reducing inflammatory processes, not irritating the skin of the inflamed area and prolonging the therapeutic effect of the composition as a whole.

The proposed composition can be used for a long time.

With the introduction of dearomatized white naphthalan into the composition of the below-stated limit, it does not give the desired effect, and an increase is inappropriate, since it is overused.

When the lower limit is introduced into the composition of the emulsifier composition, it results in a heterogeneous and unstable emulsion, and above the claimed limit it is not advisable, since this ingredient is overused. When the below-mentioned limit is introduced into the composition of the oil extract, the consistency of the ointment deteriorates due to an increase in the paraffin content (the ointment becomes not elastic and hardens quickly), and when its content increases, it also leads to a deterioration in the overall composition, since the ointment becomes more fluid. Medical Vaseline (GOST 3582-84) is introduced into the composition as a filler.

The proposed composition is illustrated by the following examples:

12.5 parts of dearomatized white are poured into a round, single flask naphthalan, pre-prepared 4 parts of the emulsifier T ₁ , and adjusted to 100 parts with a pre-prepared aqueous extract of medicinal plants. The flask is placed in a water bath and with constant stirring is heated at a temperature of not more than 60 ⁰ C for 2 hours. The resulting emulsion has a white-greenish color with a pleasant smell of medicinal plants.

Examples N ° 2-5 are carried out analogously to example XsI and are summarized in table 1.

Example Na 6. (preparation of ointment)

15 parts of dearomatized white naphthalan, 2 parts of a pre-prepared oil extract of medicinal plants, 15 parts of pre-melted paraffin are poured into a round-bottom flask, and 15 parts of pre-melted paraffin are made up to 100 parts with petroleum jelly. The flask is placed in a water bath and with constant stirring is heated at a temperature of not more than 60 ⁰ C for 2 hours. The resulting ointment has a creamy greenish color with a pleasant smell of medicinal plants. The ointment is packaged in jars protected from sunlight. The positive effect is that in addition to the fact that the proposed composition can be used for massage, it can also be used for cosmetic purposes.
