Definitions
- the invention relates to a method for repeatedly depositing small amounts in an insurance carrier for the gradual development of a pension account.
- a financial services provider offers a pension plan in conjunction with a credit card.
- a certain percentage of the credit card card transaction is credited to the selected retirement product of the holder.
- WO 01/86450 a payment system is described in which codes corresponding to a certain monetary value can be used as means of payment. From JP 2005313530 a voucher system is also known.
- the invention is based on the object of specifying a new method for setting up a retirement account. According to the invention, this object is solved by the features of claim 1.

- the transmitted data are checked by the insurance carrier, the associated monetary value is credited to the customer's retirement account only if the monetary value of the associated data carrier has not been credited to any retirement account. This is done according to a preferred embodiment in that each disk next to the
- Monetary value contains a unique code, which is deposited with the insurance carrier. When checking the data then only has to be checked whether this code has already been redeemed.
- the data carriers can be used multiple times for different pension accounts.
- the explicit possibility of transferring the data carrier is intended to bring about a rapid and broad market introduction and the opening of many such pension accounts.
- the volume is invalidated after the data has been read. This could be done for example by means of a current / voltage pulse.
- the data carrier contains a code arrangement which represents the monetary value, wherein the code arrangement is preferably printed, wherein the production in particular by means of high, low or planographic printing process.
- Particularly suitable for this purpose is a code arrangement of conductive organic polymers.
- the code arrangement can be formed by the presence or absence of at least one storage electrode, which forms a first part of a capacitor, wherein the code arrangement is further designed such that it is capacitively readable by a reading device.

- the customer 5 can then read in the data of these data carriers 3 by means of a reading device 6 into an Internet-capable computer 7 and transmit them via the Internet 8 to the insurance carrier 1.
- the insurance carrier 1 checks the transmitted data and writes the associated monetary value to the pension account 2 of the customer.
- the data carrier 3 consists for example of a flexible substrate, such as paper or foil, on which a code arrangement 30 is applied (see FIG. 2).
- the data carrier 3 consists for example of a flexible substrate, such as paper or foil, on which a code arrangement 30 is applied (see FIG. 2).
- Code arrangement is expediently printed, wherein the production by means of high, low or planographic printing method allows a mass and particularly cost-effective production.
- the code arrangement 30 can be formed for example by a bar code.
- the formation of the code arrangement by conductive organic polymers has the advantage that the code arrangement 30 can be arranged invisibly on the surface between two substrates 31, 32 (FIG. 3). In this way, the code arrangement is better protected against manipulation and the top or bottom of the disk can be used for other purposes, such as advertising.
- the code arrangement is formed by the presence or absence of at least one storage electrode 30a, which forms a first part of a capacitor. Furthermore, the code arrangement 30 is designed such that it is capacitively readable with the reading device 6. The capacitive readout has the advantage that no ohmic contact with the code arrangement is required. The code arrangement can therefore be arranged completely protected between the two substrates 31, 32.
- the insurance carrier 1 also takes appropriate measures to prevent the money value associated with a particular data carrier from being repeatedly credited to a retirement account.
- One measure could be to invalidate the volume itself after the data has been read.
- a current / voltage pulse would be conceivable, which is triggered by the reader. This voltage pulse would then lead to an appropriately prepared position of the code arrangement to an interruption of the conductive connection.
- the code arrangement symbolizes not only the monetary value but also a unique code. In this way, the insurance carrier 1 has the opportunity to check whether this code has already been read and credited to an account. When reading such a
- Code arrangement will therefore require the insurance carrier to label this code as consumed in its database. Although this last possibility has the disadvantage that each data carrier must have a different code arrangement, but manipulations can be detected relatively quickly.
- Another possibility is that when the data of the data carrier is transmitted, the device identification number of the reading device is also transferred. This can prevent a card from being used multiple times in a device. This option is particularly interesting for the introductory phase already described above, in which the data carriers may be deliberately passed on, so that as many pension accounts as possible are opened.
- the customer When the customer concludes a contract with the insurance carrier, the customer receives the reader to read the data carriers they receive from companies. When transmitting the data of a data carrier, it can also be provided that the device identification number of the reading device is transferred. If each customer is assigned a reader with a unique device identification number, a simple authentication can take place in this way.
- the contract with the insurance carrier can be designed in many different ways.
- the deposits only comprise flexible shares, which take place, in particular, by reading in the data carriers, or additional fixed contributions can be agreed at predetermined intervals.
- the data carriers symbolizing a certain monetary value can be acquired by the customer in a wide variety of ways. For example, it is possible to purchase data carriers with a predetermined value at certain points of sale. Also, business owners can use data carriers as a "thank you" when purchasing a product or service to the company
- the data carriers can also be provided with additional information, in particular about the company which issues the data carriers to the customers. Such information, such as company information or special offers, can appear on the screen especially when reading the data carriers.
- the system described above allows a particularly attractive customer loyalty for the consumer, since the customer when buying a good or service in the good sense of having done something for his pension.
