Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren, bei dem Partikel (25) einem thermischen Spritzvorgang zwecks Ausbildung einer Schicht (24) auf einem Bauteil (21) zugeführt werden. Dort werden sie von einem Trägergasstrom (23) mitgerissen und auf einem zu beschichtenden Bauteil (21) abgeschieden. Erfindungsgemäss ist vorgesehen, dass die Partikel vor der Einleitung in eine Zuführleitung (18), die in die thermische Spritzvorrichtung mündet, in einem flüssigen oder festen Zusatzstoff dispergiert werden, wobei der Zusatzstoff nach dem Verlassen der Zuführleitung im Trägergasstrom in den gasförmigen Zustand überführt wird. Ein flüssiger Zusatzstoff verdampft also bzw. ein fester Zusatzstoff sublimiert, wodurch die Partikel (25) im Trägergasstrom vereinzelt werden. Das Dispergieren der Partikel in dem Zusatzstoff vereinfacht vorteilhaft ein genaues Dosieren und verhindert ein Verklumpen der Partikel, sodass auf Grund einer verbesserten Homogenität des Trägergasstromes verbesserte Schichten abgeschieden werden können. Durch die Überführung des Zusatzstoffes in den gasförmigen Zustand wird dieser in der Schicht nicht abgeschieden.
