Bei einer Weiterbildung der Erfindung ist vorgesehen, dass das abgeschleppte Fahrzeug mit einem Spannungswandler versehen ist, der eine vom Schleppfahrzeug bereitgestellte höhere oder niedrigere elektrische Spannung in diejenige elektrische Spannung umwandelt, die in den beim Abschleppvorgang mit Spannung zu versorgenden Teilbordnetzen bereitgestellt werden muss. Hierdurch wird die Flexibilität bzw. die Kombinationsmöglichkeiten von schleppenden und zu schleppenden Fahrzeugen erhöht. Anderenfalls könnte das Schleppfahrzeug selbst liegen bleiben oder nicht zuverlässig funktionieren. Durch diese Maßnahmen wird also die Sicherheit im Straßenverkehr ebenfalls erhöht.
Bei einer Ausführungsform der Erfindung ist das erfindungsgemäße Bordnetz- System in Hybrid-Fahrzeugen vorgesehen, die aufgrund ihrer elektrischen Architektur während des Abschleppvorgangs voraussichtlich ohnehin mit einer externen Spannungsversorgung gekoppelt werden müssen.
