Abstract

L'invention concerne des lampes de décharge qui stimulent la production de vitamine D chez un individu qui s'y expose, et plus particulièrement, des lampes de décharge qui, pendant un temps d'exposition prédéterminé, stimulent la production de vitamine D chez un individu et ont peu d'effet sur la pigmentation facultative et sur l'oxydation de la mélanine. L'invention concerne en outre des lampes de décharge qui, en plus de stimuler la production de vitamine D chez un individu, émettent des photons qui ont pour effet de rajeunir la matrice d'élastine/collagène qui soutient la peau, le cartilage et les os de l'individu.
