Ledit procédé comporte les étapes suivantes: des instructions de commande (3) possibles pour la commande du système sont enregistrées préalablement dans une base de données de telle manière qu'elles sont respectivement composées d'une seule partie d'instruction (2) ou de plusieurs parties d'instructions (2), chaque partie d'instruction étant composée d'au moins deux caractères formés par des lettres et/ou des chiffres; lors de l'utilisation du système, des caractères (1) saisis dans des éléments de saisie du système en tant que lettres et/ou chiffres sont enregistrés par un utilisateur; les instructions de commande (3) dont le premier caractère d'une instruction de commande (3) composée d'une seule partie d'instruction (2), correspond à un seul caractère saisi, ou dont les premiers caractères des instructions de commande consécutives (2) correspondent à une suite de caractères saisis (1), sont déterminées dans la base de données; les instructions de commande (3) déterminées sont émises dans une unité d'émission du système pour la sélection et/ou la confirmation par l'utilisateur; et une instruction de commande confirmée (3) est exécutée ou traitée ultérieurement par le système.
