Abstract

An insulating glass element with an incorporated mobile shade or privacy blind is provided with at least two glass panes (4, 5) which are spaced apart from one another. A closed air space (10) is formed between these glass panes (4, 5). A blind (11a, 11b) which can be wound onto or unwound from a reel (12a, 12b) on the roller blind principle and which can be operated by means of closing and opening cords (20, 21, 22) which are operatively connected to at least one drivable spool are arranged in said air space. The spool drive (30) is arranged on the outside of one of the glass panes (4) and is operatively connected to an external rotor (40) which is likewise arranged outside the closed air space (10). This external rotor (40) is magnetically rotationally connected to an internal rotor (50) which is arranged in the closed air space (10) and by means of which spools for the closing and opening cords (20, 21, 22) can be driven. The spool drive is therefore accessible at any time and can be repaired or replaced without adversely affecting the tightness of the insulating glass element.
