Abstract

A data termination block connected to a distribution frame for data termination, DSL connection or the like, having a frame connection apparatus (1), a termination block (2) connected to the frame connection apparatus (1), and at least one termination strip (4) having cable connection points (14) and/or slots (9), the termination strip (4) being associated with the termination block (2), characterized in that the termination strip (4) of the data termination block has a double-sided form to efficiently utilize spaces in the distribution frame.

8AMENDED CLAIMS received by the International Bureau on 10th April 2008 (10.04.08)
1. A double-sided data termination block (2) connected to a di stribution frame through a frame connection apparatus (1) for data termination like DSL
5 splitters (5) connection or cables (7, 8) connection, the data te rmination block
(2) having at least one termination strip (4) having cable connection points (14) and/or slots (9), the termination strip (4) being associated with the termination block (2), characterized in that connection of the OSL splitters (5) and the cables (7, 8) are on the termination strips (4) both sid ss (A, B) of the io double-sided termination strips (4) having the same form, and the DSL splitters (5) and the cables (7, 8) can be connected to any side (A, B) of the termination strips (4) through connection points (14) and splitter slots (9).
2. A double-sided data termination block according to claim 1 , c haracterized in 15 that the termination strip (4) comprises the cable connection :>oints (14) and slots (9) at both sides.
3. A double-sided data termination block according to claim 1 , c haracterized in that for using the both sides (A1 B), having the same form and !)SL splitters or
20 cables being connected to, of the double-sided termination strbs (4) being on the termination block (2) are positioned vertically to the distribution frames.
4. A double-sided data termination block according to claim 1 , c haracterized in that the termination block (2) is inclinable with respect to the frcime connection
25 apparatus (1).

A double-sided data termination b|ock according to claim 1 , characterized in that the frame connection apparatus (1 ) comprises a frame connection wall (12) fixed to the distribution frame, and side block holders (1 U) substantially ju perpendicularly extending at both ends of the frame connection wall (12).
6. A double-sided data termination block according to claim 5, characterized in that the termination block (2) has fixing elements (10) eng aged in fixing housings (11) formed on the side block holders (13) for inclinhg and holding the termination block (2) in a certain position.
7. A double-sided data termination block according to claim 6, characterized in that the fixing elements (10) are perpendicularly extending from the vertical ends of the termination block (2).
8. A double-sided data termination block according to claim 6, characterized in that the fixing elements (10) are extending parallel to the vertical ends of the termination block (2).
9. A double-sided data termination block according to anyone of the previous claims, characterized in that at least one DSL splitter (5) is provided with any side of the double-sided termination strips (4).
10. A double-sided data termination block according to anyone of the previous claims, characterized in that the data termination block is a do .ible-sided DSL termination block.
