  • the art of knitting generally involves the use of a pair of identical knitting needles. Most competent knitters possess a very wide range of knitting needles of different lengths and diameters. The problem with this is that needles of any one pair can become lost of misplaced.
  • a device for holding knitting needles comprising a body portion having a tubular side wall and opposite end walls provided with a plurality of apertures of different diameters for receiving respective knitting needles, and a pair of closure portions for fitting to respective opposite ends of the body portion to captively retain the knitting needles in said apertures.

Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif (10) pour supporter des aiguilles à tricoter (14), comprenant une partie de corps (11) présentant une paroi latérale tubulaire et des parois d'extrémité opposées (12) comportant une pluralité d'ouvertures (13) de diamètres variables pour recevoir des aiguilles à tricoter respectives (14) de diamètres correspondants, et une paire de coiffes d'extrémité (15) à fixer aux extrémités opposées respectives de la partie de corps (11) de manière à retenir captives les aiguilles à tricoter (14) dans les ouvertures (13). En service, une aiguille à tricoter (14) de chaque paire peut être insérée dans des ouvertures de taille appropriée (13) dans des extrémités respectives de la partie de corps. De cette manière, les aiguilles à tricoter sont rangées de façon pratique de telle sorte que l'on verra facilement si une aiguille à tricoter d'une paire est manquante.
