  • This invention is about the medical adapter cutter and skin protecting device which is used at dressing on opened stoma ( distance made by intestines ) of patient's body in order to put the urine (liquid ) and excrements ( suspension ) of human's body outwards caused by various diseases on cystic and intestines such as ; cancer, ulcer and wounds etc.
  • the stoma surface is cleaned in order not to make tissue environment dirty and a gauze dressing is set up to keep tissue environment dry. But since the flowing liquid is too much this gauze dressing can be changed many times during dressing application. After then the stoma area is cleaned with a suitable solution and dried.
  • the adapter is set up on the patient's body, adapter bag is montaged to the adapter. After a bag and cover check the action comes to an end. Since at the urostomy and ileostomy the stome solution is liquid the gauze dressing won't be enough and the tissue environment will be wet. Beside this since the adapter radius doesn't have a sharp cut this causes a leakage on the derma on the bottom of the adapter. So adapter stickiness is decreased and adapters fall down before their using period so that duration of adapter life will be shorter. This condition causes irritations and wounds on the patients skin so that his wearing clothes will be dirty and the costs of used materials are getting higher.

After taking our product from the body stoma ( 5 ) input is cleaned at least, adapter bag is set up to the adapter (4) and this action will be completed after bag and plug control. Our existing invention can be produced for different stoma (5 ) radius.
